Fine craftsmanship entryway, easily convertible to include skylight. Nice table-hood, quiet neighbors, excellent school district just a few minutes' crawl away. Six dirt lumps a month, utilities and lot rental included!

Ok. Yup. This is me pretending I can not only vexel, that I am also "creative." Stop laughing. I know you are. But the contest is judging primarily on creativity and use of media. So I was hoping I could do well with the creativity section, but then I found myself with a rather standard apple, on a checked tablecloth, and some blah kitchen wallpaper. So I stuck in a worm, equally blaise, so here's hoping the sign fixes that?

Done in PhotoShop, with the pen tool, and my mouse. Created with filled shapes (no opacity or gradient changes, I wasn't sure if those were vector or a vexel thing. So yes. That tablecloth nearly killed me, chunking out those areas and choosing the right areas for the shadow.)

I've read so many tutorials, for some reason I just can't wrap my brain around it. At least not well enough to function with it. It sure gives a nice result if you know what you're doing though.

I've seen some awesome stuff, but I'm such a slow poke with things that there was no way to learn how and accomplish that in the allotted time. It had to be put aside for later efforts.
