Best Llamas

Which I then colored, charted, and yes, made the chart by hand, no nifty websites this time. Then I stitched it. Which took forever. I had to frog out some spots, because I screwed up. Then change colors from my original plan because they looked different stitched up than they did in the store...Disaster. I had originally thought about getting permission from the lineartist to post the chart I made, but at this point, I think deleting the file might be a better plan. *shudders*

Finished size is roughly 3.5" x 3.25" // 58 stitches by 56 stitches
Completed on White 18 ct. Aida cloth (the store only had 18 ct. white...*sigh*)
Colors (DMC numbers, with my color names):
Lt. Brown - 3373
Peach - 3774
Dk. Brown: 938
Pink: 603
Magenta: 600
Red: 304

Card Data:
Card itself is roughly 8.5" tall, by 5.5" wide, had to trim it to square it off after mounting the stitching, so now it looks crooked. Aida is double-stick taped to back of red stock with frame cut-out, then a piece of white stock is double-stick taped to back to secure everything and hide the messy messy back. Also used blue patterned ribbon, and some alphabet stickers I had laying around.

Scanned the image in, then digitally mounted in on a field of red to match the card and added descriptor text, putting in lineartist's information as it was not stitched into the design.

Physical card will be getting a personal message written in it tonight, so that tomorrow it may hopefully get some candy to go with it, and put into the mail, and arrive to my "Best Lllama" in time for Valentine's Day. I hope. Maybe. Hard to tell when you use those padded mailers, but geez, took forever to make this thing!
