Sweeney Todd & characters belongs to Sondheim, et. al. (don't want to end up in a meat pie...)
Media: Mechanical Pencil (0.7 mm lead) in my Jack Sparrow sketchbook PhotoShop to clean up the scan and remove some ghosted lines that showed up in the scan.
Yup. More mechanical pencil work. I had to find a replacement pencil as my favorite purple one went AWOL with the likely help of a 4-legged from around here. *sigh* So it took awhile on Mrs. Lovitt to readjust to the weight of a new pencil. You wouldn't think it would make much difference, would ya? Well, it does. So there. And that hair! Helena Bonham Carter really needs to invest in a brush or three. I think I may have made it too tidy here.
Ended up going back to my old habits of gridding, which I didn't do in the original, but find it a rather necessary item with more detailed work like this, at least to help get the proportions and placement correct. I just so hate the math that is involved with it.
This is the "redo" portion of my entry for the "Draw this Again" contest. I know, I didn't do the original that long ago, but there's been a lot of practice since then. And this account isn't that old.
